This award-winning single-origin bar is sourced from a family estate in the Esmeraldas region of Ecuador. The Salazar family—the owners and operators of the farm—fortify the local community with forty full-time jobs. Interspersing local fruit trees throughout the farm, the family also protects the environment by reducing soil erosion. The final product is rich, dark chocolate infused with notes of honey, pineapple, fudge, matsutaki, and tamarind.
