The Hacienda Cata produces cocoa in a mixed culture with other tropical fruits in a fantastic location off the Atlantic coast near Ocumare. The small farmers, organized as a cooperative, help each other with the harvest and process the fine cocoa together. The Criollo Ocumare forms the core of what is typical for this individual location intense aromas.
Tasting note
This chocolate impresses with an exceptional variety of flavors that combine concentrated roasted aromas, a touch of espresso, nuances of nuts, dried fruits and fresh spices.
